Full-Site Logo
The preferred logo for USPS.com is the "Beak In a Box" mark followed by "USPS.com" both in USPS Digital Blue (#333366). The logo should always consist of the beak-in-the-box mark followed by text (with the registration ® mark) to the right. Never alter this arrangement without a specific exception granted by the USPS Brand Marketing Team.
If you’ve been granted an exception to use the beak-in-the-box mark alone, it must include the registration ® mark unless that exception has been granted as well (e.g., for the USPS.com favicon).
While the size of the logo can be adjusted based on usage, the aspect ratio should never be changed.
Full-Site Header Logo
The logo in the global header appears on the top-left of the screen, below the utility menu and aligned with the global navigation bar.
Full-Site Footer Logo
The logo in the global footer appears in the top-left corner of the footer, above the link category headers, and has 30px of padding above and 37px of padding below.
NOTE: Legally approved alt text for the full-site USPS.com logo is: "The profile of an eagle's head adjoining the words USPS.com."
Clear Space
In desktop view (above 958px wide), the logo should always be placed flush left with the edge of the navigation. It should have a height of 26px and have 37px of space above and below.
In tablet view (more than 600px wide but less than 958px wide), the logo should be centered in the gray navigation bar, at a height of 25px, and have 15px of vertical padding.
Affiliates & Vendor Logos
When referencing USPS vendors, affiliates, and other associates, those businesses’ logo and logotype are sometimes used. When this is the case, their logos and logotype should only be used:
- With permission or in accordance with the terms of use
- Without alteration (except resizing, unless prohibited); this includes social/share icons
- With necessary disclaimers and acknowledgements
